We won’t beg to return to House - Suspended Reps

Eleven members of the House of Representatives who were suspended by the House of Representatives have said that they were not going to beg the leadership of the House to ensure their return to the House.
One of the suspended members, Honourable Solomon Ahwinahwi, who made the position known in a statement on Wednesday, said that the members were people with integrity who were bent on ensuring the actualisation of the rule of law.
He said in the statement: “We are not beginning to return the House. We believe in the rule of law and that was why we took our case to the agencies who can investigate the allegations of mismanagement of N9 billion House funds.
“Our people from back home have been agitating that they want to come and invade the House and possibly stop the National Assembly from operating but we are democrats and we want to challenge Honourable Eseme Eyiboh to name anyone who has begged him to return.
“We have no apology to anyone because this is a case where Nigeria’s   N9 billion has been mismanaged. Nobody has even offered explanations as to the state of those funds. Honourable  Eyiboh opened his mouth too wide and that is why he called his colleagues juvenile delinquents sometime ago.
“This is not a matter of internal affairs of the House. It is something that belongs to all Nigerians and we have no apology.
