2011: ‘Vote for political aspirants with meaningful manifestoes’

2011: ‘Vote for political aspirants with meaningful manifestoes’

National chairman of the All Nigeria Peoples Party, (ANPP), Chief Ogbonnaya Onu, has urged Nigerians to vote for political aspirants with meaningful party manifestoes that will impact on their lives in the 2011 general election.
The ANPP chairman, who made the call  on Wednesday at the party's state secretariat, advised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure it conducted all 2011 elections on the same day as a cost-saving measure, pointing out that  staggering elections consumed too much resources of the nation.
The PDP, he said, had impoverished Nigerians through the visionless and bad leadership it provided this past 11 years, urging Nigerians to have a rethink by voting over- whelmingly for the ANPP which had a new vision to build a new Nigeria.
“We have a new ANPP with new vision that wants to build a new Nigeria . Nigeria is a rich country but its people remain poor because of bad leadership. Why should we continue with PDP that has failed? Let Nigerians try ANPP and if given the opportunity, the party will offer effective leadership.”
