Fabio Capello has warned his England players against indulging in alcohol and urged them to be "careful with their private life" due to the pervasive presence of mobile phones.

• Bothroyd wins England call
• Becks set for comeback?
Capello - who on Saturday night named four new players in his England squad to face France, including Cardiff striker Jay Bothroyd - has chosen to remind his team of their responsibilities off the pitch.
Joe Hart, Gareth Barry and Adam Johnson were recently videoed at a student party in Scotland while the England squad is no stranger to scandal given a number of incidents over the past few years.
Capello does not wish to see his players making headlines for the wrong reasons and has bemoaned the influence of social networking sites and their intrusion into the private domain.
"If a player drinks a lot his career will be shorter," Capello said. "This is important. Players have to understand the effect drink has on the body. I don't think it is possible to be a top athlete and drink heavily after matches.
"You can know everything about what happens in someone's private life because of the mobile phone. It can record all the time. It can take pictures. You can find everything on Facebook or Twitter.
"It is the worst thing. It is why people can speak about certain people drinking or being out. Players now have to be so careful with their private life because people can see everything."
Capello has also confirmed that David Beckham could win an international recall. Capello had appeared to bring an end to the midfielder's international career when saying in August that, at the age of 35, he was "too old".
However, ESPNsoccernet revealed on Saturday that Beckham has not been written out of Capello's plans and the Italian said: "[Beckham] is not in this week's squad because at the moment he is focused on LA Galaxy. After that we'll see."
