Udenwa, Ararume defect to ACN, as Tinubu, others storm Imo

All necessary arrangements have been concluded by the Alliance for Good Governance in Imo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to defect to Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).
The group, which is led by the immediate past governor of the state, Chief Achike Udenwa, and Senator Ifeanyichukwu Ararume, is pulling its supporters out of the PDP to ACN.
ACN chieftains are expected to storm Imo State on a date to be disclosed by the party.
Those expected in the state are a presidential aspirant, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the governors of states being controlled by ACN, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State, Mr Raji Fashola of Lagos State and Dr Kayode Fayemi, Ekiti State.
Also expected in Owerri are Dr Chris Ngige and Senator Bola Tinubu.
Their defection to ACN was as a result of alleged problem with the PDP in both Imo State and national headquarters of the party in Abuja.
It will be recalled that the group boycotted both local government elections in the state and recently-concluded wards and local government congresses, claiming that issues relating to the two elections were before the court.
